Minister of Children, Students, and Adult Discipleship
Mission:
Develop and implement ministry programs that nurture the faith development of children, youth, and adults at Yates Baptist Church.
Key Responsibilities
Children & Students Ministry
Plan and implement all programming for children and students; work with ministerial staff to create and evaluate ministry vision
Budget Management
Develop annual budgets in collaboration with advisory committees; manage expenses within approved budgets
Parent Communication
Maintain strong, ongoing communication with parents and families
Adult Discipleship
Assist Sunday School classes with literature selection; recruit teachers; plan events for senior adults
Qualifications
- Individual of proven Christian character
- Effective teacher of children using age-appropriate teaching methods
- Strong organizational skills in planning, administration, and budget management
- Demonstrated skills in creating effective in-reach and outreach programs
- Master's degree with a focus on children's and student's ministries from an academically accredited seminary or divinity school OR Bachelor's degree and at least three years ministerial experience
Salary & Benefits:
Up to $65,000 depending on education and experience
