Morning Worship

Worship is also available via live stream at 10:30 AM.

What to Expect

Sunday worship at Yates runs about an hour. You’ll hear music from our orchestra and choir, and a message from Christopher grounded in scripture and aimed at real life. The tone is warm and unhurried. You won’t be asked to stand up, introduce yourself, or put money in an offering plate. We’re just glad you’re here.

If you have children, there’s a quiet corner in the sanctuary with rockers, crafts, and activities — so families can stay together in worship. Sunday School at 9:15 AM includes a combined gathering in the Attic before groups split by age.

After the service, people linger. We have a lot of regulars who like to talk. You’re welcome to join in or just take your time finding the exit.

Common Questions

Yates has two parking lots on campus. Spaces near the building are reserved for first-time guests. Accessible parking is available in all areas.
Whatever is comfortable. Some members dress up, others come casual. You won't be out of place either way.

Children are busy souls and we welcome their energy. The quiet corner in the sanctuary is there precisely so families don't feel they have to leave.
Yates has a Safe Sanctuary policy covering all vulnerable populations in our care. Volunteers are screened and trained. Contact the church office for more information.
The easiest way is to talk to someone after worship — our deacons and members are genuinely glad to meet new people. You're also welcome to contact Christopher or the church office directly.
